Our Mission

“The Wesleyan Holiness
Consortium
Freedom Network
seeks to foster
a collaborative
approach to ending
modern
slavery by proclaiming a

hopeful alternative and
by engaging
in smart,
effective, sustainable action.”

Who We Are

The Wesleyan Holiness Consortium Freedom Network (WHCFN) is an affinity network of the Wesleyan Holiness Consortium, which exists to support regional, national, and international networks of abolitionists. We are united in a common heritage, founded on Wesleyan principles of holiness.

The WHC Freedom Network is compelled to fight modern day slavery not only because it is a good cause, but because it is an outpouring of who we are. Our identity in Christ compels us to fight slavery, to advocate for the equality of women, and to bring justice and reconciliation into the dark places of this world.

The Purpose of the WHC Freedom Network

1. To provide practical ways for churches to actively engage against slavery
2. To strive toward making abolitionist work mainlined so that every church can facilitate their own efforts well
3. To provide an enhanced resource network to all members
4. To allow for collaboration of our strengths, for the betterment of our work
